I wish.

I wish I wasn’t addicted to these:

I wish I didn’t have to write 3 of these:

I wish the trees looked like these:

I wish I were on one of these:

I wish I had less of this to write about things I’m wishing for, and more of it to do everything I should be doing:

Oh wait! That’s my choice! Wonderful.

{how rad is that clock though? really.}

you seriously just wasted  58 seconds reading about all my ridiculous wishes. joke’s on you! welcome to my life.

that’s all.

quote of the day.

“When you push against the boundaries of experience into the twilight of the unknown, the Lord will strengthen you.

The beauty of your eternal soul will begin to unfold.”

Almost two months ago, on January the fifth, I wrote a post. I mentioned a motto:

“I’ll go where You want me to go.”

I explained how I felt like this year might be a year of big decisions. Today I’m wondering how in just eight short weeks, that  has already become a reality.

It may not be on the mountain’s height,
Or over the stormy sea;
It may not be at the battle’s front,
My Lord will have need of me;
But if by a still, small voice He calls,
To paths that I do not know,
I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in Thine,
I’ll go where You want me to go.

I’ll go where You want me to go, dear Lord,
O’er mountain, or plain, or sea;
I’ll say what You want me to say, dear Lord,
I’ll be what You want me to be.

Perhaps today there are loving words
Which Jesus would have me speak;
There may be now in the paths of sin,
Some wand’rer whom I should seek;
O Savior, if Thou wilt be my guide,
Though dark and rugged the way,
My voice shall echo Thy message sweet,
I’ll say what You want me to say.

There’s surely somewhere a lowly place,
In earth’s harvest fields so white,
Where I may labor through life’s short day,
For Jesus the Crucified;
So trusting my all to Thy tender care,
And knowing Thou lovest me,
I’ll do Thy will with a heart sincere,
I’ll be what You want me to be.

 Where does the Lord want me to go?

He wants me to make a commitment. He wants me to make the most pivotal decision I will make in this lifetime. He wants me to trust in Him.

It’s a good thing I promised Him I would go where He wanted me to.

To be continued…
